Branding of Dragør

In the spring of 2016, Dragør municipality, Dragør Business Association and Dragør Tourist Council initiated a project and increased Dragørs coverage and presence on the web and in local and national media in the following months. The project consists of three PR activities, which focuses on Dragørs harbor, its shopping and the town’s remarkable history with carpentry and construction.

Grønbech is managing the project and all related PR. The first two activities gave Dragør coverage in many dailies, local media and relevant industrial media.

Grønbech produces all PR-materials. We distribute the materials to relevant media, after which we post the story on and social media.

The project is part of a longer process, in which Dragør and Store Magleby is to be highlighted as tourist attractions. The project also provides branding for the two towns as business friendly environments with many interesting stores and great opportunities to enjoy the surrounding nature.


The first two PR-activities has resulted in sixteen articles in local and national media. The stories have also been exposed on social media, and other websites. The widespread coverage has strengthened Dragørs brand both locally and nationally. Dragør is a relevant topic, and national media are planning a number of articles that focuses on Dragør.
