Christmas in Dragoer
Grønbech handled PR and marketing for Christmas in Dragoer. We helped establish Dragoer’s image as a Christmas village, making sure that as much publicity as possible concerning the series was included in information about Dragoer. Thus raising awareness of the many Christmas activities in the little village throughout December.
Danish National Broadcasting (DR) shot film for the advent calender, “Tidsrejsen” (The Time Travel), in Dragoer. The national attention surrounding the 24 episode TV-series provided a unique opportunity to raise awareness about the small village, attracting visitors and creating a new tradition of Christmas Markets in Dragoer in the future.
Dragoer was re-creating the same Christmas Market as displayed in the TV-series throughout December. The village showed costumes, scenery sketches and many artifacts from Tidsrejsen ( The Time Travel).
Christmas in Dragoer had its own design and logo that reflects the uniqueness of the old village and creates familiarity when the tradition continues.
Christmas in Dragoer has gained lots of publicity in print, online, social medias, radio and television.
The village got a record high number of visitors to the opening of Dragoers Christmas Market, before the TV-series even started!
The Facebook profile Christmas in Dragoer reached approximately 170,000 people and posts on the profile was viewed more than 377,000 times.
