Mette Tronborg Petersen fra Bryggergården: Case for Grønbech PR og HR

Activity on social media using minimal time

Mette Tronborg Petersen owns and runs Restaurant Bryggergården in Roskilde and has received help from Grønbech PR and HR for storytelling and administration of the restaurant’s social media profiles. According to Mette Tronborg Petersen, this has given her more time to focus on the running the restaurant while ensuring ongoing activity on social media.

Restaurant Bryggergården is located in the centre of Roskilde in one of the city’s historic buildings. In the restaurant’s cozy atmosphere, the staff serves traditional Danish food made from scratch with fresh ingredients to their guests.

Too little time for social media

For Mette Tronborg Petersen, social media is the obvious choice for marketing the restaurant, but she has also realized that it takes time and continuous effort to be successful on social media.

“I don’t think it would make sense for our restaurant to buy ads in the newspaper, because that’s not where people find places to eat these days. Our customers are more likely to be on social media, so that’s where we need to be to capture their attention. But building a brand on social media requires a constant flow of new content,” says Mette Tronborg Petersen, elaborating:

“I run the restaurant every day and take shifts as a waiter when needed. So, there’s always something to do in the restaurant. That’s why I rarely have time to post on social media, and why I sought help to manage this part of the business.”

Ongoing activity on social media

Grønbech has been responsible for making weekly posts for social media, preparing advertisements and handling the activity on the restaurant’s Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn profiles.

“Grønbech has been really good at listening to what I want to achieve and translating it into a plan. They have adapted the plan month by month, depending on the input I provide and their own suggestions and ideas,” says Mette Tronborg Petersen and continues:

“Grønbech being responsible for content on our social media has given me peace of mind and freed up time. The agreed plan is followed to the letter and if I suddenly needed something else, for example to have a job advertisement posted on our profiles. I just had to let them know, and they took care of it.”

Online visibility

On the event sites Kultunaut and Visit Fjordlandet, local businesses, organizations, etc. can have a profile page and post events. Mette Tronborg Petersen wanted to strengthen Restaurant Bryggergården’s presence on these sites.

“I never had time to write texts and post events on Kultunaut and Visit Fjordlandet myself, so I was happy that Grønbech took the initiative and handled the task,” says Mette Tronborg Petersen and adds:

“We also had some technical issues with the two sites, and Grønbech was great at taking the lead and getting the problems fixed, so I didn’t have to bother with it.”
