15 year anniversary

As the Specialists’ Communication Agency, Grønbech turns 15 years now. Better rather than bigger, is our motto, which has developed from then husband-and-wife business in children’s room to now trusted PR partner of specialist companies and owner-managers.

Grønbech PR og Kommunication ApS, based in Dragør, has found its niche in the industry, helping small and medium-sized specialist companies tell good stories. Now, the agency is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Every day is to be a good day at Grønbech’s and for customers. This is the recipe for running Grønbech PR and Kommunikation ApS, or simply Grønbech, celebrating its 15th anniversary in October 2022.

Throughout the years, the core of the agency’s work has been finding and communicating good stories that help companies attract customers and employees. Grønbech has specialized in making a difference for specialist companies and owner-managed companies.

Started with an office at home

It all started when the phone started ringing. After a number of years as a communications manager – most recently at the listed real estate and investment company Keops – Susanne Lindø Grønbech founded her communications agency in 2007 with the ambition to help businesses tell good stories.

“I had just left my job as communications manager as the company had been sold and delisted from the stock exchange. I was offered consulting assignments, and my husband Karl Erik took care of administration, and then Grønbech was in business,” Susanne Lindø Grønbech, owner and Director at Grønbech’s, recalls.

Within a few months, Grønbech was established as a company that provided effective communication and PR for especially small and medium-sized companies, and Grønbech started hiring to keep up with the pace.

Soon, the married couple furnished the three children’s rooms on the ground floor in their home on Platanvej in Dragør into six office spaces. Their home was twice – from 2007 to 2008 and 2010 to 2016 – the base for the agency, until Grønbech moved the current office address at A. P. Møllers Allé 9B, also in Dragør.

Most customers are from eastern Denmark and the capital area, but throughout the years Grønbech has had customers in Jutland and has recently opened an office in Horsens to be closer to its customers in Jutland and on Funen.

Bureau of Specialists

Grønbech collaborates with several companies across the country within the construction industry, installers, industrial production, wholesalers as well as companies within IT, insurance, management consulting and health technology.

A major part of the companies are highly specialized and professionally skilled companies that collaborate with Grønbech to spread their good stories effectively on their website, social media and in trade magazines and news media. For the most part, through a long-term and close collaboration.

“Our customers are incredibly skilled specialists and professionals. Therefore, we feel obliged to offer them exactly the storytelling, PR, and visibility that they need to attract and retain good customers and qualified employees. We are a team of communication specialists who offer just that,” says Susanne Lindø Grønbech.

Better rather than bigger

Today, Grønbech has a staff of six permanent employees as well as a number of freelancers who contribute to special tasks and when the assignments in the agency are particularly large. Although Grønbech could grow, it is not growth that drives the company forward in daily life.

“Some people have the idea that there is only one way forward: to grow and get bigger. I think we have overcome the financial crisis, illness, death, and corona because we have focused more on getting better rather than getting bigger,” says Susanne Lindø Grønbech.

“We put energy into how we create a good workplace, how we develop good and long-lasting relationships with our customers, and how we provide them with communication that benefits their business the most.”
